Loan Closet Overview

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

The Housing Self Help Office DSN 315-243-7263 or dial international 011-81-46-816-7263 offers temporary loaner furniture and appliances to help new arrivals get set up on or off base while awaiting their household goods shipments. The Fleet and Family Support Center DSN 315-243-3372 or dial international 011-81-46-816-3372 offers loaner kits, based on family size, on a first come, first-served basis. The kits are free of charge for 30-45 days. Extensions are available upon request if there is not a waiting list.

Furniture will be delivered and picked up by request. Please contact the Housing Self Help Office at DSN 315-243-7263 or internationally at 011-81-46-816-7263. Loaner kits are picked up at the Fleet and Family Support Center Yokosuka or Fleet and Family Support Center Ikego on a first come, first-served basis.
