Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Call the Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) Manager/Family Programs at Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin (DDJC), California, at 209-839-5029.
Installation-specific information
The main goal of the RAP at DDJC is to develop and implement services that assist military and civilian personnel and their families adjust to the stresses of a permanent change of station move and their new duty station. Family Programs is located at San Joaquin Depot, Building 101, Room 104. Call 209-839-5029.
Family Services Assistance is available whether you transfer to a new duty station or leave military service. Family Programs will provide you with newcomers’ information and outreach assistance. Upon arriving at DDJC, you may wish to stay at lodging located in Manteca, Tracy, or Lathrop, California. Family Services Information is available for off-base rentals, real estate agents and utilities.
Information on animal kenneling is available for those who have moved with their family pets. Call the Family Programs Manager to help make your move less stressful and ensure you receive the best service.
All military personnel are required to out-process with their servicing personnel office. Members are required to have a copy of their orders, their leave forms, their travel vouchers and a copy of their personnel files. Information and Referral Programs are provided through Family Programs at 209-839-5029. They will gladly assist you with information on housing, financial programs, education and more.
