Relocation assistance can provide support if you’re preparing to move or PCS. The programs and services defined below are provided by the Military and Family Support Center. In addition to the assistance program, a variety of other services may be available. Check the additional information topic to see what unique installation services are available to you.
If you are approaching a permanent change of station, or PCS, you may have questions about your upcoming move. As part of the Military and Family Support Center, the relocation assistance program provides services and resources to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Below is a listing of resources.

Installation Specific Information
Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) -- The main goal of the relocation assistance program manager at DDJC is to develop and implement services that assist military and civilian personnel and their families adjust to the stresses of the PCS move and their new duty station. Family Programs is located at San Joaquin Depot, Bldg #101, 209-839-5029.
Family Services Assistance -- Assistance is available whether you transfer to a new duty station or leave the service. Family Programs will provide you with a newcomer's information and outreach assistance. Upon arriving at DDJC, you may wish to stay at Lodging located in Manteca, Tracy or Lathrop, CA. Family Services Information is available for off base rentals, realtors and utility.
Other Information -- Information on animal kenneling is available for those who have moved with their family pets. Please call us at Family Programs to make your move is less stressful and ensure you receive the best service. All military personnel are required to out process with their servicing personnel office. Each is required to have a copy of their orders, leave forms, travel vouchers, copies of personnel files. Information and Referral Programs are provided through the Family Programs at 209-839-5029. They will gladly assist you with information on housing, financial programs, education etc.
