With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
Temporary lodging is available for both TDY and PCS personnel. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance. There are limited pet rooms available which are in high demand; early reservations are recommended for the pet rooms and family rooms. If lodging is unavailable, a Statement of Non-Availability is not needed or possible, as we are privately owned.

Eligibility & Reservations
IHG Army Hotels Fort Huachuca welcomes military personnel, direct-billed military students, military families, retirees, Department of War civilians, contractors, and other authorized travelers.
Guests who are eligible to access Fort Huachuca are welcome to stay with us, subject to room availability. Directly billed students have priority.
Availability; Costs; Registration
Availability changes daily, costs depend on purpose of travel. PCS & TDY travelers will pay a portion of Cochise County per diem, no more than full per diem.
Normal check in is 4 p.m., and check out is at 11 a.m. Other arrangements may be allowed due to circumstances, on a case-by-case basis with rewards members receiving priority on early and late checkouts based on availability.
On the installation you will find an RV resort, Apache Flats, that is open to Active duty, military dependents, retirees and DoW civilians. Reservations may be made 60 days out for active duty personnel and retirees, 30 days for DoW civilians. For your convenience, 56 concrete pull-through slots are available, and the price includes full hook and cable 30 and 50 amp hook ups are available at each slot. Laundry, restroom and shower facilities are available for guests. Maximum Length of Stay
Active duty military members can sponsor guests at the RV park for one week depending on space available.

Pet Restrictions
Up to 2 animals are allowed to stay in limited pet specific rooms all located on the first floor. Breed restrictions are Pit Bulls and Rottweilers, Doberman Pinchers, Wolf Breeds, Chow Chows, and pets are required to be crated when left unattended in guest rooms. Pets must be crated or on a leash in all common areas per Post Policy. Special consideration will be given to Service Dogs to ensure they can stay with the owners.
Special Needs Units
The Candlewood has a limited number of ADA rooms to include walk-in showers. Please contact Mike or the Front Desk to reserve these as needed.
