Dix - McGuire
Legal Assistance is available at JB MDL. The Legal Office advises active duty members, retirees and family members, and other eligible clients on their legal affairs by delivering preventive law information and resolving personal legal problems. The JB MDL Legal Office can be reached at 609-754-2010.
Services include: family law, civilian administrative, military administrative, consumer protection, personal property, landlord/tenant disputes, taxes, power of attorney, wills and notary public services.
Legal Services Not Available
A military legal assistance attorney cannot represent members in court, or in an administrative hearing. Legal assistance attorneys cannot offer legal advice on criminal issues, official Air Force matters (such as promotions, assignments, or administrative actions), or matter involving your personal business (except Soldier's and Sailor's Relief Act issues). In these cases, or in other cases requiring specialized knowledge of particular areas of the law, the Legal Office may recommend consultation with a civilian attorney.
Lakehurst
The Naval Legal Service Branch Office (NLSO) is located on the Mainside complex of Naval Weapons Station Earle. NLSO provides legal services regarding personal civil legal matters. This may include advice, research, negotiations, documented preparation and other types of assistance. NLSO also educates eligible persons regarding their personal legal rights and responsibilities.
All active duty military and dependents may access legal service on the base.

There are two active duty Legal Assistance attorneys providing counsel on numerous topics. The list below is not intended to be comprehensive and attorneys may provide assistance on additional matters. Topics that are covered include:
