If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
To report Sexual Assault call the 452 Security Forces Squadron (24/7) at 951-655-2985/2981. For immediate assistance, also contact the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (24/7) at 951-655-7272. If you need to speak with a Non-Medical & Confidential counselor, please call the Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at 951-533-5974 or the Director of Psychological Health (DPH) at 951-655-5097. If you need to speak with violence prevention, please contact the Prevention Analyst, Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce POC at 951-655-2126.
Emergency financial assistance is available through the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS). *** As of May 6 2021, All Airmen and Guardians are eligible regardless of Duty Status. However only emergency assistance is available for Guard and Reserve at this time.
As of 17 OCTOBER 2022:
Air Force Aid Society Financial Assistance. AFAS has incorporated change on how eligible members are able to request emergency financial assistance. This change now allows Airmen, Guardians, and their families to apply and submit an application online directly to AFAS HQ for processing, regardless of their location. In agreement between AFAS, other Military Aid Societies, and the American Red Cross, effective immediately:
1) All eligible Airmen, Guardians and their families with a financial need, regardless of location, will apply for AFAS emergency assistance through the AFAS Portal at https://portal.afas.org/my-applications/ 2) Members of other military services requiring financial emergency assistance at an Air Force installation without a local Military Aid Society will be referred to the American Red Cross (ARC) at 1-877-272-7337.3) American Red Cross (ARC) will continue to provide eligible Airmen, Guardians, and their families with AFAS financial assistance for emergency travel and to avoid immediate privation.
The Military & and Family Readiness Office (M&FRO) refers clients who need Emergency Financial Assistance to the Air Force Aid Society, Army Emergency Relief, Navy/Marine Relief Societies and the American Red Cross. Assistance is available for members of all branches of service through coordination with their specific branch's emergency relief agency. The AFAS web site is:https://portal.afas.org/my-applications/. Members will have to go to this site and apply directly for assistance.
Members of other military services requiring financial emergency assistance at an Air Force Installation without a local Military Aid Society will be referred to the American Red Cross at1-877-272-7337.
Assistance can be accessed during normal office hours of the Military & Family Readiness Office and through the March ARB Command after normal duty hours. Military & Family Readiness Office is a one-stop information and referral resource for members of the March military community. Information and referral are provided to both on and off base resources based on the services needed. The Riverside County American Red Cross provides emergency communication services for military members and family members as well as disaster response services for the community.

211 Riverside County is a program of the Volunteer Center of Riverside County and has over 860 human service agencies and 2500 programs in Riverside County in its database. Information is provided and referrals made 24 hours per day, 7 days a week by dialing 211 or 800-464-1123.
