Programs and services are available at most installations for children up to age 12. Care may be provided in Child Development Centers, School Age Care Programs, and Family Child Care Homes. Please review the information to find out what programs and services are available at this installation. Please contact the Child and Youth Program point of contact at this installation if you require information, assistance or resources for child care in your local community.
If you are interested in becoming an FCC provider, you must be at least 18 years of age and live in base housing. The family child care program will provide training in CPR, first-aid, food handling and sanitation and child development prior to licensing. Contact DSN 315-253-7351 (Commercial 011-81-0827-79-7351) for more information on becoming an FCC Provider.
Parents can obtain referrals for certified homes with openings by calling the CYTP Resource and Referral office at 315-253-5064 (DSN) / 011-81-0827-79-5064 (commercial).
The CDC is located in Building 635,636 and 637, next to Provost Marshal's Office.
The CDC offers full-time, part-time, supplemental and hourly care for children six weeks to five years of age (not enrolled in Kindergarten). CDC also offers before and after school for children enrolled to Universal Pre-Kindergarten to MC Perry Primary School. The CDC is accredited and complies with Department of Defense standards of quality. CDC offers the Early Learning Matters Curriculum, a learning model that supports and encourages growth and development of children while embracing the differences in their abilities and interests.
Hourly care is offered on a space available basis. Inbound personnel in need of childcare are encouraged to contact the CYTP Resource and Referral office prior to arrival at DSN 315-253-5064 (Commercial 011-81-827-79-5064)

Hours of Operation
The CDC is open Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on all federal holidays. Service Member or Sponsor Leave and Earnings Statement must be provided to determine income. If the spouse is employed, a copy of the most recent pay stub will also be considered in determining TFI.
The School Age Center is in Building 9540, across from the Temporary Lodging Facility.
The SAC is a registered affiliate of the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA) program. BGCA offers unique curricula where youth are provided a choice of programming and learning opportunities to explore life skills and join in many core programs including Power Hour, Triple Play, Healthy Habits and Smart Moves. All of which encourage and support the unique interest of each youth.
The School Age Center offers before and after school care to include full day care for no school days such as teacher workdays, summer, spring and winter camp. Full time care is for children five years of age (enrolled in kindergarten) through age 10 or 5th grade.
Hourly care is available on a space available basis.
