- Proof of valid NC liability insurance
- Driver's improvement card of all military personnel 25 years or younger
- Copy of Title Application Page when license plates have been transferred

On-base Pet Policy Procedures
Two domestic pets are allowed per household. Animals must be registered with the Station Veterinarian and must be under control of their owner at all times. Call 252-466-2166, Small Animal Clinic, located in Bldg 293.
Installation Firearm Policy
All Privately owned firearms used, possessed, introduced and/or stored aboard the Air Station shall be registered with the Provost Marshal’s Office by the owner within 30 days of reporting aboard the Air Station or 30 Days or purchase (with proof of purchase) of the privately owned firearm. All Privately owned firearms which are not duly registered and/or introduced or improperly stored about the Air Station are in violation of the order and will be confiscated.
Outdoor Recreational Activities
Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point encompasses approximately 26,000 of federal land utilized for military training. While the land is not being utilized for training it is opened to Department of Defense personnel and their guests to hunt, fish, trap, and to harvest nonmerchantable firewood. To ensure you comply with all regulations, contact the Game Warden prior to engage in local Natural/Wildlife activities aboard the installation: 252-466-3242/3593.
Cherry Point Motor Vehicle Regulations:
- All persons operating a vehicle aboard MCAS Cherry Point are responsible for carrying and producing proof of current motor vehicle insurance. Motorcycles are no exception.
- Cell phones cannot be used while driving on base, only hands free devices may be used.
- Motorcycle and moped course required. Contact Ground Safety at 252-466-7542. Helmets required on motorcycles. For further guidance on motorcycle safety aboard the installation, reference Motorcycle Regulations (marines.mil).
- SECNAVINST 6055 requires helmets to be worn when bicycling aboard DOD installations.
