Youth Sponsorship Program

The School Liaison works collaboratively with programs within Marine & Family Programs and the local schools to help ease the transitions for military children through outreach, orientations, and peer-to-peer connections.  The School Liaison can help by providing information and resources to assist in getting military children involved in their new community through opportunities such as Marine & Family Program events, camps, youth sports, ambassador clubs, extracurricular activities, installation events, and so much more. Youth Sports

Cherry Point Youth Sports is a "Community Partnered" program with the National Alliance for Youth Sports, an organization recognized as the national leader in youth sports education and training and whose goal it is to make sports safe and positive for America's youth.

Our programs are designed to provide youth with a positive youth sports experience. We do this by emphasizing learning the sport, sportsmanship and an equal opportunity to participate. Sports offered include basketball, indoor soccer and golf.

In addition, many instructional programs are offered such as:

• Hook A Kid On Golf
• Parent/Child Golf Clinics
• Basketball Summer Camp
• Cheerleading
