When planning for a move with the military, you might consider moving into government housing. Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. Eligibility and availability for this type of housing may vary by service member, family size and installation. Family housing is available for military personnel reporting to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.
In order to apply for base housing aboard MCAS Cherry Point, you must complete an application for housing, DD Form 1746, and forward it to the commanding general at the following address no later than 10 days prior to your detachment from your current duty station.
