When planning for a move with the military, you might consider moving into government housing. Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. Eligibility and availability for this type of housing may vary by service member, family size and installation. MCB CAMLEJ and MCASNR privatized military housing is considered some of the finest in the Marine Corps. The 5,204 housing units are maintained by the PPV Partners. In addition to new construction, many housing units have been renovated. Updates to existing housing units are either in progress or programmed for future renovation. All homes offer central heating and air conditioning, washer and dryer hook-ups, range, microwave and refrigerator. Cable/internet service is available, but not provided by the PPV Partners.
