Deployment Support

Deployments can bring on all types of stress and the possibility of upcoming problems for the Service Member and their family members. At the Military and Family Readiness Center, the Readiness NCO can brief you on what you can expect when you deploy and what the Military and Family Readiness Center can do to assist family members cope with your absence.

Many programs have been established to assist your loved ones, for example:

• Morale call program, register through the M&FRC Readiness Office.
• REST, putting a picture of you or your loved ones on a pillow case so you or they always have that picture with you.
• Gunfighter Dolls 
• United Through Reading Program
• Give Parents a Break Program, one Saturday a month, free childcare from 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., certificate is required and available from the M&FRC. (currently unavailable)
• The knowledge that the Military and Family Readiness Center is available to assist when the loved ones need help.
• Pre-Deployment Briefings: Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
• Reintegration Briefings: Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.
