The Relocation Assistance Program is designed to provide transitional assistance as you and your family PCS to and from Mountain Home AFB. The Military and Family Readiness Center is the place to stop upon your arrival for base maps, information on the local area, and internet access/free Wi-Fi. Upon arrival, check in with your squadron Commanders Support Staff (CSS) where you will be given your in-processing checklist and scheduled for the Wing Right Start Program (Newcomers Orientation). Wing Right Start is mandatory for all newly assigned active duty and civilians to Mountain Home AFB and is designed to provide mandatory briefings as well as provide information to you about the base and local community. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend!
We also offer Plan My Move, a required relocation brief for all Service Members who are PCSing out of Mountain Home. Spouses are also highly encouraged to register to attend!
Children are not allowed at the Wing Right Start, please bring your orders to the M&FRC for an Air Force Aid Society PCS Childcare Certificate for 20 hours of free childcare to be utilized on base within your first 60 days of arrival. Subject to availability with Family Child Care, Child Development and Youth Programs.
