Government Housing Overview

When planning for a move with the military, you might consider moving into government housing. Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. Eligibility and availability for this type of housing may vary by service member, family size and installation. Learn more about the different options, benefits and discounts that may be available to you through government housing.

The housing office at NAS Fallon is open 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. NAS Fallon has 219 family housing units that are equipped with a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer hook-ups, central heating and air conditioning. Military housing is limited, so check availability as early as possible.

Application

The NAS Fallon housing application package can be completed at any time. Placement on the wait list will be the member's detachment date obtained from the service member’s orders Service members must apply for housing within 30 days of checking in to NAS Fallon in order to qualify for local move funding.
