The largest contractor on NAS Fallon is the BOS contractor, currently Chugach Support Services, Inc. CSSI is responsible for maintenance, transportation, landscaping, custodial, etc. CSSI is required to attempt to fill their positions from within their current workforce before recruiting outside applicants. Other contractors are numerous, with skilled aviation maintenance positions paying wages of over $22/hr. On any date there are generally 50-150 jobs open in the Fallon commuting area (50 mile radius).
