Naval Base Kitsap  Housing

Eligibility

There are two options on Naval Base Kitsap for temporary lodging, with orders, at the unaccompanied housing Navy Gateway Inn and Suites, and the Navy Lodge.

Navy Gateway Inn and Suites has units at both Bangor and Bremerton bases. Call 877-628-9233 or 877-NAVY-BED. On orders, you can stay for the duration of the orders. Space available is limited to seven days.  https://ngis.dodlodging.net/propertys/Kitsap-Bremerton-NB

The Navy Lodge is located in the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor complex and is open to military families, military retirees, and DoD civilians.

Availability, Costs, Registration

Availability varies with fleet operations. You may check vacancies and register by calling 360-779-9100; FAX 360-779-9117. The cost is $72 per night for a standard room and $119 for a family unit at the Navy Lodge.

Pets

Navy Lodge accepts pets, however there are restrictions, so be sure to call ahead. Unaccompanied housing does not accept pets.

Reservations at the Navy Lodge can be made for permanent change of station families up to one year in advance with orders. Make arrangements as soon as possible as the popular summer months often find it filled to capacity. A maximum of 10 days of temporary lodging expense is authorized for this area. The Navy Lodge is located on the Bangor base and is within walking distance to the main Navy exchange, commissary and Cinema Plus Theater. Unaccompanied housing is available to incoming personnel and is located on both Bangor and Bremerton bases. Unaccompanied quarters does not allow pets.
