Members must submit an application, orders, dependency verification and custody verification if applicable. All documents must be received before Housing will assign a unit. Dependent Entry Approval will be issued once housing has been assigned. The waiting period for quarters varies depending on the time of year and the member's entitlement and family composition. Unaccompanied Service Member Housing
Housing units are not assigned to unaccompanied service members. All incoming unaccompanied military personnel are assigned to appropriate unaccompanied housing spaces. Unaccompanied personnel must place furnishings in non-temporary storage in the states, as there is no storage available on base. They must also make arrangements for any pets they have, as pets are not permitted in UH accommodations and no kennels are available.

Access off base is prohibited. All residents, including active-duty and Department of Defense employees, must live in government-assigned housing.
