To help customers access moving resources more easily, Move.mil has moved to the Military OneSource website. Now, moving resources from the Defense Personal Property Program and Military OneSource are available on the Military OneSource website.

Access content from the former Move.mil website, including moving guides and tips, videos and FAQs, entitlement brochures, household goods shipment logistics, DPS log in and more. Naval Support Activity Northwest personnel residing on the southside in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake or North Carolina must utilize the Norfolk Naval Station Personal Property Office. The personal property office is located off base in the Personnel Support Mall. Army, Marine Corps and Navy service members can utilize the personal property office's computers to move their household goods. Personnel planning to utilize the personally procured move (PPM), previously called the do it yourself move (DITY), may walk in the Norfolk Naval Station Personal Property Office for assistance or call 855-444-6683.

If you are going to reside on the peninsula in Hampton, Newport News or elsewhere, regardless of where you will be stationed, you will contact the Langley Air Force Base or Fort Eustis Personal Property Office.
As soon as you receive your permanent change of station orders, it’s important to begin scheduling your move. The Defense Personal Property System, or DPS, is the online system you can use to request and manage your household goods shipment(s).
