The IHG Candlewood Suites are located in building 2250, on 6585 Lodging Lane, at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The Aberdeen Proving Ground workforce is dedicated to accomplishing missions necessary to support the needs of today’s Soldier and tomorrow’s Army through science and technology. Whether visiting for business or pleasure, we want your stay with us to be an enjoyable experience. There's always something going on around the Aberdeen Proving Ground area from golfing to sightseeing. Accommodations include kitchenettes with stove tops, microwaves, full refrigerators, and 55 inch colored flat screen smart televisions. For your convenience, all air conditioned rooms also include irons, ironing boards, hairdryers and clock radios. Please join us for a complimentary continental breakfast a light morning meal where we provide cereal, fruit, eggs, bread products, fruit juice and hot beverages. After having a good night's sleep and light breakfast with us, go out and enjoy all the attractions and recreation on or around Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. This includes PCS, TDY, and Unofficial Visitor. Please call for room rates. Rates are not based on rank. Lodging consists of 148 single rooms, 68 apartment style rooms, 6 DVQ’s on Aberdeen and 2 DVQ’s on Edgewood. All rooms have furnished kitchenettes or full kitchens. Laundry facilities are located in all buildings at no charge to guests. All check-ins must be done in Aberdeen. 

PCS facilities are available for families and their children in building 2505. Pets are allowed in building 2505 with a $50.00 non refundable pet fee.

If you are reporting after duty hours, weekends or holidays and require assistance, contact the Installation Staff Duty Officer (SDO) at 410-306-4736 who in turn will provide you with the appropriate POC number for your unit of assignment. Other important numbers are:

Edgewood Area Lodging is located in Edgewood, MD and can be reached at DSN 312-584-3848 or COM 410-612-0512. The Aberdeen Proving Ground Lodging Facility has also contracted with several local, name-brand hotels to provide rooms for overflow personnel. These hotel contracts provide for lower than normal rates for military personnel and families.

Army lodging offers many amenities. We have a full housekeeping service, vending machines, laundry room, billiards room, exercise room, and continental breakfast. We are conveniently located from shopping, leisure activities, historical Havre de Grace, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
