When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
Upon arrival, your sponsor should take you to the Admin office on Chinhae Naval Base. Located in Building 606, Room 120 (DSN: 315-763-5310), this is where you can begin the check in process.
Unaccompanied housing assignments are based on rank. All unaccompanied personnel are assigned housing immediately.

To begin the housing assignment process, please contact the email below. Once you have started the process, it usually takes about a week to get assigned a house.
Command Sponsorship
To have command sponsorship, family members moving to Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae must have been approved for Dependent Entry Approval and must be listed on the sponsor's official PCS orders or amendments. Family members not on official orders can only enter the country on a 90-day tourist visa. Family members that are not command sponsored do not have privileges to use base facilities, including the Post Exchange, Commissary and base housing. Family members must be command sponsored in order for the sponsor to receive financial, housing and educational benefits associated with an "accompanied" status. If you bring your spouses on 90-day tourist visa you will need to request access badge through CFAC through the CFAC Security office prior unless they have a valid military ID. If you're planning on marrying within the United States prior to your arrival, check with your losing command on the guidelines established.
If you get married before your permanent change of station, you must inform your losing command, your gaining command, your sponsor, and the Chinhae Naval Base Administrative Department, located in Building 606, Room 120, DSN 315-763-5310 as soon as possible. Follow their instructions exactly as you are given them. Failure to do so will result in the military not adding your spouse to your PCS orders. This means your spouse's travel and housing will not be covered.
