FFSC offers a variety of services to assist transitioning sailors and their family members. Services include Welcome Aboard Packets, Newcomers Orientation, Loan Locker and Relocation counseling. Installation-Specific Information
Welcome to Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae, if you have any questions prior to your arrival in Korea, while your sponsor is your first line of support, the FFSC is here to assist you as well. If you are already on base, stop by the office at Building 711. There, FFSC employees can provide helpful information to make your tour of duty in Korea as enjoyable as possible.
Welcome Aboard Packets are generally sent to incoming personnel and their families in conjunction with the Fleet Activities Chinhae Sponsor Program, but you can request them directly by contacting FFSC,
Pre- and post-arrival information is available to newly assigned personnel and their family members. Among the specific services provided are Welcome Aboard Packets, community and base information bilingual guides for transportation, lodging, shopping, etc.
CFAC requires all incoming personnel to attend an orientation and indoctrination program which provides information about the host country, local community and the installation.
The Relocation Assistance Program is designed to provide Information and Referral resources, one-on-one counseling, education, and training to lessen the trauma of relocation and help make your move as smooth as possible.
