Child & Youth Programs
Child Development Center ServicesCommander Fleet Activities Chinhae Child Development Center offers full and part-time custodial care options for children ages six weeks to 5 years with hourly care options on a space-available and first come, first served basis.
The Teaching Strategies curriculum used within the classrooms and lesson plans are based on child observations. The CYP is in building #702 and is located near the MWR Fitness Center. The carefully designed classrooms and playground provide safety and security for children in a pleasant and developmentally appropriate environment.
To request enrollment for Full and Part Time care families must use the www.MilitaryChildCare.com website. Hourly Care availability as well as payment options are all available online! Recreational School Age ProgramThroughout the school year CFAC Child & Youth Programs offers free recreational programs for ages K5-age 12 that highlight the five Navy CYP Core Programs: Health and Wellness, the Arts, Education & STEM, Leadership & Service, and Sports & Recreation. It is important to note that on “School Day Outs,” the CYP also offers hourly cares services for school aged participants. During the Winter, Spring, and Summer Breaks the Recreational School Age Program does not operate, as the facility conducts full time custodial care camps for ages K5-12.If you would like to enroll your child in weekly camps, please request care on the www.MilitaryChildCare.com website.
