When planning for a move with the military, you might consider moving into government housing. Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. Eligibility and availability for this type of housing may vary by service member, family size and installation. Single service members can stay in base unaccompanied housing available in Chinhae. Please make sure your orders and information are emailed/faxed in as soon as you receive orders. Please refer to the Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae website for CFAC unaccompanied housing information. Busan Sailors speak with your sponsor or call 011-82-51-714-0843.
Service members checking into unaccompanied housing must report to the unaccompanied housing front desk to get a room key and to finish necessary procedures. All residents are required to complete the Registered Sex Offender Addendum and UH application. The unaccompanied housing front desk is open from 7:30 a.m. – 11 p.m., Monday through Sunday, and 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Korean holidays.
