Temporary Housing

The Pine Tree Inn temporary lodging facility (TLF) has excellent accommodations, which include wireless internet and a business center.

All personnel can contact the reservations clerk at DSN 312-675-2844 or 605-385-2844 to make reservations for temporary living. Limited temporary pet facilities are available on base and a very large fluctuation in housing availability exists on and off base, depending upon climate and time of year since tourism is a major industry here. June through August are the most popular times, so advance reservations are important. Please contact the reservations clerk as soon as possible so that you will have the best opportunity to get the lodging you will require.

From May through September, on-base lodging is limited due to increased TDY and PCS traffic. During June through August, off-base lodging is expensive and limited due to several events that happen annually in the local community. General Information

Beginning on 1 May 2023, please call the property for reservations.  We are currently not accepting online reservations. For TDY travelers, please use DTS for booking reservations.  

Air Force Inns (dodlodging.net):

• Rates are reviewed and subject to change annually
• Check-in is located at the Pine Tree Inn (2349 Risner Drive (Bldg 1103).
• Check-in time is 2 p.m.
• Check-out time is 11 a.m. Guests checking out late will be charged for an additional day unless prior arrangements have been made with the Lodging staff.
• Housekeeping service is provided daily to all rooms unless the "Do Not Disturb" sign is hung on the outside of the doorknob. If so, the housekeeper will return at 11 a.m. hours to attempt housekeeping. Bed linens are changed every seven days for long term guests.

There aren't many pet-friendly rooms so it is recommended you contact Lodging (605-385-2844 or DSN: 312-675-2844) before bringing your pet to ensure you know the requirements and to check availability.
