Youth Services

The Youth Center offers various recreational, educational, and social programs for middle and high school age teens. Programs range from sports and fitness programs to health programs to arts, leisure and recreation activities to after school programs (grades 6-12). For details, call 719-526-2680.

While our Youth Sports and Fitness program encourages children between the ages of 3 through 18 to foster a healthy and active life-style through sports and athletic activities. Take advantage of Start Smart programs for preschool-aged children or sign your child up for team sports, athletic activities and participate in after-school programs. CYS registration and annual sports physicals are required for participation.

Does your child have 101 questions about your next duty station? If so let a youth sponsor answer them. Youth sponsors are available through the school districts, also known as school ambassadors. They will provide information about their new community and answer questions from a youth perspective, while being guided by adults in the CYS youth program and the schools.
