A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The Army Community Service (ACS) Lending Closet can provide temporary loans of household items whether you are on PCS orders to Fort Meade or are leaving Fort Meade. The Lending Closet offers the following items: pots, pans, dishes, irons, ironing boards, toasters, coffee makers, folding tables and chairs. No Baby/Children items are available.Please remember to pack your own bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, shower curtains, alarm clocks, and a flashlight.
Visit the ACS Relocation Center located at 830 Chisholm Ave, off of Ernie Pyle Road, open Monday - Friday except for holidays, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., to check out the availability and borrow the items you need and don't forget to pick up relocation information on Fort Meade or your next duty station!
