A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
Youth Services is an affiliate of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and offers a variety of new clubs and activities. Youth Services consists of two delivery systems, including Middle School and Teen Program (MST) and Youth Sports.
Middle School and Teen Program (MST)The MST program provides activities for youth 6th-12th grade, i.e. growth, recreational skills, educational opportunities, youth development, and sports and fitness.
Youth can meet with friends and participate in various games, tournaments, dances and trips. In addition, there are many special events and programs available throughout the year.
MST participation is open to family members of active duty and retired military personnel. Civilian and DoD contractors working on Fort Lee.
The Youth Sports program offers a variety of sports and fitness activities for youth 3-16 years of age. Tournament leagues and competitions are held throughout the year. Sports camps are offered during the summer.
Sponsors for your middle school or high school teens are available either through the youth program or school.
Youth Sponsorship Registration
Contact your School Liaison Officer (SLO) to request a sponsor, (804) 765-3813, DSN: 312-539-3813. Please click on the link and complete the Youth Sponsorship Request Form to help your SLO pair your child with a compatible sponsor.
Army Youth Sponsorship Program
The Youth Sponsorship Club can help your teen learn about their new community and make new friends. Getting involved quickly helps youth and teens fit in and feel less stress associated with their PCS move. All it takes to join the club is a visit to the School Liaison Officer or local Youth Center.
We have partnered with all of our Family Morale Welfare and Recreation programs that have youth activities. These programs are coordinated for our youth to enjoy during their stay at Fort Lee. This program will also train youth that want to become youth sponsors.
Fort Lee offers several instructional classes such as karate, dance, SAT preparation, Home Alone Classes, babysitter training, etc for youth of all ages.
