As a gateway to the resources you need, the Military and Family Support Center provides information, support and services to help you balance the demands of military life. The Military and Family Support Center is one part of the overall Family Readiness System, which is the network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family life readiness, mobilization and deployment readiness, and mobility and economic readiness. It should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services are a key resource for you and your family. They include:
Military and Family Support Centers are part of the network of agencies, programs, services and partnerships which supports the overall well-being of military families. Military and Family Support Centers provide information, education and support programs to help balance the demands of military life. The Military and Family Support Center should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation to connect with key programs, services and support systems. Programs and services may vary across services and installations.
Military and Family Support Centers may provide other programs, such as the Exceptional Family Member Program, Family Advocacy Program and the New Parent Support Program. These services vary by location. Find your specific center by visiting MilitaryINSTALLATIONS and searching by installation or postal code.
Army Community Service (ACS) is a human service organization composed of civilian personnel and an unpaid staff of dedicated volunteers. These volunteers make it possible to offer services to the community including a lending closet and general information.

General Eligibility -- All active duty, U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard Service members on active duty exceeding 30 days, Department of Army Civilians, Retirees and Family members.
Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program (SAPRP) Army policy promotes sensitive and confidential care for victims of sexual assault and accountability for those who commit these acts. For more information call Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, 804-894-0029.
Army Emergency Relief (AER) offers emergency financial assistance to all Army personnel, active and retired, and their family members in the following categories: food, rent, required travel, utilities, essential car repairs, medical bills, funeral expenses and essential needs in the event that pay is lost or not received.For more information call Program Manager, 804-734-7954.

Empowerment Program Services/Victims' Advocate, assists those who are victims of domestic violence. This includes safety planning, protective orders, community resource information, and referrals. Services are provided to active duty members and their Families, retired Army members and their Families, and reserve components on continuous active duty in excess of 30 days and their Families. Exceptional Family Members Program (EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment support program that works with other military and civilian agencies to provide coordinated medical, educational, housing, community support, and personnel services to Family members having medical, psychological or educational -related special needs. Financial Education Program offers classes on checkbook management, money management and budgeting. Provide information on several other financially-related topics of interest to military families. Other classes are available upon request. For more information call Program Manager, 804-734-6446.
Information, Referral & Follow-up Program is designed to link active duty personnel, retirees, civilians, and family members, with other military and civilian helping agencies by providing accurate information about these organizations. For more information call Program Manager, 804-734-6388.

New Parent Support Program (NPSP) offers services, from a licensed professional, to expectant parents and parents of newborns up to four years of age. The New Parent Support Program Manager can visit with you at home or can schedule an office visit. Services are tailored to your Family's needs and goals. Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) provides assistance to individuals and Families in transition by maintaining current information on Military Installations worldwide and operating a lending closet for temporary use of basic household items. General eligibility applies to the services offered by the RAP except including the lending closet which is available to Active Duty military personnel, retirees, and DoD civilians and eligible Family members. Team Lee Academy of Family Excellence/Family Advocacy Program supports readiness, building healthy Families, and sustains strong communities by providing comprehensive approaches to prevention, identification, and intervention of child and spouse abuse in military Families.
