A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The Lending Closet has many basic household and kitchen items to assist in your transition while you are waiting for shipment of your household goods. Our availability of items changes daily. Please contact us at 907-353-4227 or visit us at the Welcome Center in Building 3401 to put in a lending closet request. Please attempt to place your request three to five days prior to needing the items to avoid delays.
We do not offer furniture items. Contact the Housing Office's Loaner Furniture Program at 907-353-3541 for details. Please bring your own sheets, towels and pillows.
