With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
The Lodging Office, located in the Landing, Bldg. 450. Hours of operation are from 0600-2200 for PCSing military members. Reservations for quarters can be made as soon as you know you are PCSing to Hill and based on availability. For more details, call DSN 312-777-1844 or 801-777-1844.

Pet-friendly rooms are available. There are a limited number of pet TLFs available. There is a two pet cat or dog maximum per unit and proof of rabies vaccination within one year must be presented upon check-in. An additional fee of $10 per unit will be charged.
Members in PCS in or out status with family may stay in temporary lodging facilities up to 30 days. Reservations for in-bound members in this status should be made as far in advance as possible.
Unaccompanied military members on PCS orders may remain in transient quarters up to 30 days Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible.

On-base lodging
The Mountain View Inn offers 107 rooms all private bath accommodations including Business Suites, VQs, and TLFs. Centrally located in the heart of Hill AFB most rooms are within walking distance to the BX, Commissary, Banks, Child Care, Recreation Center and other amenities.
