Hunter AAF Homes is the privatized, on-post, family housing, managed by Balfour Beatty Communities. On Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF), family housing is divided into five neighborhoods, ranging from 2-4 bedrooms and in single-family, duplex, townhome, and apartment styles. There are no mobile home parks on the installation.
The government does not have any leased housing in the community for soldiers to rent.
Most homes are strictly for active-duty Army families assigned to HAAF. The highest proportion of homes is for ranks E1-E6 with the lowest proportion allotted to officers. We also have rental homes available for military retirees, DoD civilian employees, and the public.

Exceptional Family Member Housing
All Soldiers reporting to Hunter Army Airfield are required to process through the Housing Service Office (HSO) before renting or buying a home off-post. HSO helps and guides military personnel and DOD civilians in finding suitable, affordable off post housing.
