Some jobs are plentiful in Savannah, Brunswick, Statesboro and surrounding areas. Good employment prospects are registered Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Social Services, Construction, Physical Security, Teaching, Food Service, Warehouse and Management. ACS Employment Readiness Program
Soldiers, DA civilian employees, spouses, retirees, surviving spouses, and family members (to include youth), are eligible and highly encouraged to participate free of charge. A professional Job Search Trainer will help you identify your immediate and long range career goals. Based on your needs assessment an Individual Career Plan will be developed to help ensure that you receive the necessary assistance. Employment Readiness will provide job search training, but it's not a job placement service. You'll also have access to valuable references on the national job market and be able to attend seminars and workshops on job search. Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC)
The Appropriated Funds (AF) and Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) offices are located in the CPAC office, which is located at Ft Stewart in the Soldier Service Center, building 253. They are also located They provide job listings for federal jobs and instruct interested applicants on how to apply. The CPAC office also provides job vacancy announcements and applications for NAF jobs for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Vacancy announcements are also available online.
