Programs and services are available at most installations for children up to age 12. Care may be provided in Child Development Centers, School Age Care Programs, and Family Child Care Homes. Please review the information to find out what programs and services are available at this installation. In addition to the three child development centers on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, there are licensed family day care providers residing on base housing who can accommodate full-time care.
The Family Child Care program for in-home day care offers professional and safe care in a home environment. Family Child Care is available for children 6 weeks to school age and offers drop-in, part-time and full-time care.
Additional Information
All children using any of the above programs must have proof of current immunizations either with a shot record or medical records. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling provides an array of child development services. The program is DoD certified and is also accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.

Rooms for infants, pre-toddlers, toddlers, 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds are available. There is a part-day enrichment program for 3- and 4-year-olds as well. A kindergarten class is also provided.

All fees are based on total family income.
Availability
While there is a waiting time of approximately six months, priority is given to dual military and single military parents.
