With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
Marine Corps Recruit Depot Transient Billeting is located at Building 625 on Tripoli Avenue. Please call 619-524-4401 for reservations. Priority is given to service members with permanent change of station orders. Pets are not allowed; billeting will make referral to local hotels.
If no quarters are available at the Depot's Transient Billeting, other temporary lodging may be secured at one of the two area Navy Lodges: Naval Station San Diego or Naval Air Station North Island. Please call 800-628-9466. Additional lodging may be available at the Marine Corps Lodge Miramar Inn at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Please call 858-271-7111.
