Check-in Procedures

All new arrivals to the base should report to their unit of assignment for new arrival check-in instructions.  

If you are unsure of where you should check in for your new command or if you check aboard after normal working hours, please contact the Command Duty Officer (CDO). The phone number is 817-825-6403.

If you are on official permanent change of station orders to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, you will receive priority for temporary housing accommodations. Please contact the consolidated base housing office to make lodging reservations prior to your arrival. The CBH reservations number is 817-782-3388 or DSN 312-739-3388. Once again, if you check aboard during normal working hours, please report to your command's administration office. If you check aboard after normal working hours, please report to the CDO.

The base operates on a Monday through Sunday schedule. During drill weekends, reservists receive priority for billeting onboard Naval Air Station Fort Worth. Billeting is usually more available during the week on a Space-A basis. In other words, try to plan your arrival for a weekday. 

Once you have received your permanent change of station orders and if you are relocating with your family, you can obtain a reservation for temporary lodging by calling the Consolidated Base Housing Office at 817-769-6872 or DSN 312-739-6872. You can make reservations for the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites onboard Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth by calling 800-628-9466.

If you get married before you make a permanent change of station move, you MUST inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures.
