If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.

When you or your eligible family members need emergency financial assistance, the Navy and Marine Corps Relief office is located at 1515 Chenault Ave. onboard Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base. You may contact Navy and Marine Corps Relief at 817-782-6000, DSN 312-739-6000. They will assist members from all branches.
Bring your ID card, leave papers, leave and earnings statement, and any other useful information such as dental estimates, medical bills, utility emergency bill (shutoff warning notice), funeral bills or vehicle repair estimates which may be helpful in estimating your needs. If after hours or if there is no NMCRS office nearby, you or eligible family members can visit the nearest American Red Cross Facility, Air Force Aid Society, Army Emergency Relief or Coast Guard Mutual Assistance office in your area.
Emergency Procedure While en Route
In case of an emergency while en route to this installation, contact the nearest active-duty base of ANY service. If delayed in reporting, contact the quarter deck at DSN 312-739-7152, commercial 817-782-7152 or Command Duty Officer (CDO) 817-825-4079, or call the American Red Cross toll-free number, 877-272-7337. You MUST report your status as soon as possible.
