Youth Sponsorship Program
At NAS JRB Fort Worth, each unit is mandated to have a Sponsorship program to assist personnel moving to the area. If for some reason you have not received notification of appointment of your sponsor, check with your gaining unit prior to arrival to ensure you will receive this support.
The Youth Sponsorship program assists youth moving to the area by matching them with a sponsor living here, who is of similar age and has similar interests. The sponsor can provide information about schools, sports and recreational activities in the JRB Fort Worth area. Such information can make the transition here much easier.
Youth Employment
Summer employment is occasionally available with Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Check during early Spring.
