Also, your relocation counselor at your present duty station can assist you and your family in making these important decisions. The Fleet and Family Support Center regularly sponsors programs to assist in the adjustment to Key West. For instance, the Welcome to Key West program has helpful information on the history of Key West.
If you are separating or retiring, make sure you attend the Transition Assistance Program workshop sponsored by the FFSC.
The blending of needs with resources, including resources in the military and local community, is the goal of the Information and Referral Program. If we don't have the information on a particular subject, we will find it for you.

The FFSC can help you prepare for your permanent change of station stateside or overseas, retirement and separation from active duty. The center offers a variety of services that can help you manage the financial aspects of your move, help you get settled in your new community and provide extensive information about Key West. The FFSC offers the Welcome to Key West newcomers brief regularly as well as a spouse orientation for incoming and new military spouses once a quarter.
