Contact information for key programs and services at this installation.
A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The Fleet and Family Support Center Loan Locker has Hospitality Kits, air mattresses, foam sleeping mats, irons and ironing boards available to incoming and outgoing personnel and their families. These items are limited in number, are available on a first come - first served basis, and are free to use. Additionally, all issued items must be returned clean and ready to be reissued.
Each Hospitality Kit is a 35-gallon tote containing the following items: four person meal set (plates, bowls, drinking glasses, coffee cups, silverware, and silverware tray), three cutting knives, a cutting board, three cooking pots with lids, a skillet, cooking utensils, a cookie sheet, a colander, four mixing bowls with lids, a pitcher with lid, a toaster and a coffee pot. Additional dish packs are available for families with more than four people.
No government furniture or linens are available for loan; however, the community has five thrift stores and a Habitat for Humanity used furniture store as well.
We recommend that you include the following items in your unaccompanied baggage: pillows, sheets, towels, blankets, dish towels and other necessary items to use before your household goods shipment arrives.
