Welcome to Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Unaccompanied Housing. We're proud to offer comfortable living spaces for up to 1,600 personnel across our UH footprint. Our dedicated and highly trained staff is here to provide you with quality, courteous service and support during your stay.
Your fully furnished room, complete with bed linens provided at check-in, will accommodate one or two people depending on your pay grade and room size. Our UH facilities includes comfortable lounges, community kitchens, convenient laundry rooms, and vending areas. Plus, Building 1053 features a massive Navy Exchange Micro Mart right on-site!
Are you a senior unaccompanied married service member, E6-E9? Consider applying to be a UH Resident Advisor! This vital position offers you a room in exchange for assisting our staff and serving as a valuable resource and senior presence for your fellow residents.
We strive to keep every UH room well-maintained and secure, upholding high standards of cleanliness and habitability. Creating an ideal living environment is a team effort, so your active cooperation and support are essential. To ensure these standards are consistently met, your tenant command will conduct 100% room inspections monthly.
Service members with dependents that desire to reside in unaccompanied housing must submit a request in accordance with Submarine Base Instruction 11103.1U. It is recommended that service members submit their request at least 30 days prior to their anticipated report date. Members in pay grades E-6 and above may request for assignment as a resident advisor in accordance with Submarine Base Instruction 11103.5C. It is recommended that the request is submitted at least 30 days prior to anticipated report date.
