Child Care

Naval Support Activity Panama City has a Child Development Center (CDC). Fee schedules for our CDC are mandated by the DOD and Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). We offer Child Care for Ages 6 weeks-5 years at our Child Development Multi-Age Program. We are located in Bldg. T2087. The hours of operation are 6 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Family Child Care(FCC) is the regular care of a child in the home of another family. Care is provided on a regular basis, usually 3-10 hours per day. Occasional baby-sitting is not considered FCC. In a FCC home there are no more than six children present. Persons who operate a FCC home must meet certain base requirements before offering care to children. Operating a FCC home in government quarters is a privilege granted by the Base Commander to persons who have satisfactorily completed training requirements, home inspections, and agency screenings.

Naval Support Activity Panama City Child Development Multi-Age Program (CDMAP) services ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Hours of operation is 6 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; occasional Friday nights are covered during scheduled Give Parents a Break Nights. The Child and Youth Program (CYP) offers before/after school care and day camps for ages 5-12 (5-year olds must be in Kindergarten).

No before school care is currently offered. 
2-6:30 p.m.(After School Care)
6 a.m.-6:30 p.m. (Camps)

Open Recreation:
Monday - Friday: During the School Year 5-6 p.m.
