Trailers
There are three self-contained, park-model units that can be rented for up to 30 days. These trailers sleep four people, are completely furnished and may be reserved by active-duty and retired military members six months in advance. These are sometimes used by personnel for temporary lodging and are available for rent. Call Morale, Welfare and Recreation for reservations or additional information.Off-Base Lodging
For a listing of hotels/motels and other temporary lodgings in the community, call the housing welcome center. They may have made bachelor’s quarter arrangements with local hotels/motels for special rates for military personnel. Additionally, contact the housing welcome center prior to obtaining temporary housing. They can provide you with a sale and use a tax exemption form. This form allows active duty military personnel to be exempt from hotel/motel sales and bed tax. Military members must present this form to hotel/motel managers at the time they rent a room.
