Programs and services are available at most installations for children up to age 12. Care may be provided in Child Development Centers, School Age Care Programs, and Family Child Care Homes. The mission of the Family Child Care program is to provide quality child care that enables parents to meet the mission. This program enables on-base residents to provide child care in their homes. FCC providers participate in the USDA Food Program and must complete an extensive training program. Startup financial assistance is available to FCC providers. The Patrick SFB CDC provides care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. You may contact the CDC at 321-494-7029/DSN 312-854-7029. Programs include full day care, hourly care and Voluntary Pre-kindergarten Classes.
The mission of the Patrick CDC is to provide quality child care that will enhance the development of all children in an effort to support the performance of their military and civilian parents assigned to Patrick Space Force Base. The CDC provides a high quality NAEYC accredited program which is DoD certified. There are nine classrooms available for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

The center is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
