Contact information for key programs and services at this installation.
When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
As of 17 June 2022, all DOD Civilians, Contractors and Military Families must travel with a No-fee Passport (provided from your losing installation) which takes approximately 3 - 4 weeks to process once application is submitted. Service members will need at least 10 copies of your permanent change of station orders with any amendments, immunization/medical/dental records, marriage/divorce/birth certificates (if applicable). You will arrive to Korea either by Patriot Express, a military contract flight out of Seattle to Osan Air Base or commercial air to Incheon International Airport. Either way, there will be a representative from 19th Human Resources Company that you will link up with upon arrival.
If arriving in Osan, you will be guided through customs by the 138th MCT and directed by the 138th MCT to get your luggage. You will be met by 19th HRC. Please have your military identification card, No-fee Passport, and a copy of your orders readily available. Then you will be escorted to a bus that will take you to USAG Humphreys Maude Hall.
Arriving in Incheon, you will either land in Terminal 1 (the old part of the airport) or Terminal 2 (new part of the airport that is 15km from Terminal 1). At Terminal 1 near Exit 1 of the Arrivals floor, 19th HRC mans a United States Forces Korea desk 24/7. At Terminal 2, there are Korean employees and soldiers from the 19th HRC posted at Gate 6 on the first floor 24/7. All documents will be reviewed by Immigration prior to leaving the terminal, so have readily available orders, passport, VISA, and pet information. At either the USFK desk at Terminal 1 or at Gate 6 at Terminal 2, 19th HRC personnel will gain accountability of inbound personnel, collect a copy of your orders and direct you onto a bus to U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys (approximately 1.5 hour drive). NOTE: Buses run several times a day, but be prepared to wait for up to two hours if you miss the most recent bus. If you expect to arrive to USAG-H late in the evening, you might want to pick up snacks and drinks at the airport, since the PX and Expresses closed by 2200 hours.
Once at USAG-Humphreys, you will need two forms of picture ID to get onto the installation. The bus will take you to Maude Hall (bldg. 6400) where 19th HRC personnel will provide a quick welcome brief. All single Service Members will be transported to the barracks for the remainder of their stay. DOD Civilians, Contractors and their families will need to make arrangements with Humphreys Lodging prior to arrival if/need to stay overnight prior to travel to USAG Daegu. Service Members will attend a 3 - 5 day In-processing from USFK with all the mandated training ie. SHARP, TARP, EEO, EFMP, Cultural Awareness and submit documents to Finance for Smart Voucher.
Once arriving at USAG Daegu, Soldiers are required to attend the mandatory Area IV USAG-Daegu Reception and Integration Newcomers Orientation which is held every other Tuesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., starting at the Camp Walker Soldier Support Center, bldg. 330, room 315. Additional in-processing may be required at the unit level.
