With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
The Lagerhof Inn provides temporary lodging 24/7 to incoming and outgoing personnel, temporary duty assignment personnel and other eligible users on a space-available basis. During peak periods, priority is given to soldiers and family members on official orders: Bldg. 8076/Contact: 06111435312900 or 314 531-2900.
Pets
Pets are allowed in lodging, but there is a charge for pets of $15 per day and a one-time fumigation fee of $75. The maximum number of pets allowed at the inn is two.
Family Suite Kitchenette-Mini Suites
There are 15 family suites with kitchenette and three mini-suites with no kitchenette. The cost per night is $227. A Sunrise Start breakfast is included.
VIP Suites
There are two VIP Houses. For a one-bedroom house or a two-bedroom house, the cost per night is $227. A Sunrise Start breakfast is included.
Rooms
There are 25 standard rooms, which are also $227 per night. A Sunrise Start breakfast is included.
Payment
No personal checks will be accepted from outgoing personnel on permanent change of station orders.
Temporary lodging is available on Smith Barracks in the Lagerhof Inn. Incoming personnel or their sponsors can make their own reservations in advance to ensure availability. If the Lagerhof Inn is full, a list of local hotels is available to provide alternate temporary lodging arrangements, and the service member will be issued a Certificate of Non-Availability for reimbursement of their local hotel accommodation. Be advised that off-post temporary lodging will require a cash payment in euros before check-out. Be sure to have sufficient funds to cover your off-post stay.
