Fayetteville State University (FSU) is a state-supported university. Complete student services are available at Fort Bragg. Services include student advisement, registration, payment of fees, and purchase of books. Main campus is located in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina. School year is based on a semester hour system. FSU is a member of the Service members Opportunity College System. FSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. FSU offers a number of bachelor’s degrees with concentrations in a wide variety of major fields of study at Fort Bragg. Courses from these programs are offered on post five times a year in nine-week cycles. FSU's Fort Bragg office is located in B-Wing, Room 102, BTEC.

The purpose of the military scholarship is to reduce significant financial barriers for military connected individuals pursuing an undergraduate degree at Fayetteville State University.

Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) is a state-supported 2-year college. Complete student services are available at Fort Bragg. Services include student advisement, registration, payment of fees, and purchase of textbooks. Main campus is located in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina. School year is based on a semester hour system. FTCC is a member of the Service members Opportunity College System. FTCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. FTCC offers associate degrees in many areas, community education programs, and vocational diploma programs. It is the largest program of its type in the State of North Carolina. FTCC offers the College and Career Readiness Program, designed to support academic and employability needs. Classes offered include English as a Second Language, High School Equivalency, GED Testing, and Adult High School.
Methodist College is a small private college located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Methodist College is a member of the Service members Opportunity College System and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Methodist University founded in 1956 and has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,467 (fall 2024), and the campus size is 617 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Methodist's Fort Bragg office is located in B-Wing, Room 103.

Campbell University (CU) is a private university. Complete student services are available at Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. Services include student advisement, registration, deferred payment plans, and purchase of textbooks. Main campus is in Buies Creek, NC, which is located 28 miles north of downtown Fayetteville. School year is based on a semester hour system. CU is a member of the Service members Opportunity College System and participates in the SOCAD-2 and SOCAD-4 networks. CU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. CU offers a number of associate and bachelor’s degrees with concentrations in a wide variety of major fields of study. CU programs are available at Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. Courses from these programs are offered on post five times a year in nine-week cycles during the daytime, evenings, lunch hours, and weekends. In addition to using Army Tuition Assistance or VA Education Benefits, military students, their Family members, and North Carolina residents may apply for the North Carolina Legislative Tuition Grant. Campbell's Fort Bragg office is located in the B-Wing, Room 105 at the BTEC.
The University of North Carolina - Pembroke (UNCP) has 41 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs, and is a member of the University of North Carolina (UNC) System. UNCP is a public 4-year university located in the town of Pembroke, NC. UNCP is a member of the Service Member Opportunity College (SOC) System and participates in the SOCAD-4-degree network. UNCP is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools. UNCP offers several undergraduate degree completion programs and select graduate degrees on Fort Bragg during the evening hours in 8-week terms. UNCP offers a one-stop student services office in Wing B, Room 102 at the BTEC on Fort Bragg. Services offered include admissions, student advisement, unofficial evaluations, and registration.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) has multiple locations in North Carolina, including Fort Bragg, Greensboro, and Camp Lejeune. The world’s oldest and largest fully accredited university specializing in aviation and aerospace, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees at Fort Bragg. Program areas include the specialization Embry-Riddle is best known for aeronautics and aviation as well as other fields such as technical management, management and aviation maintenance. The school year is based on a semester-hour system with 12 enrollment dates per year. Embry-Riddle Worldwide is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Because worldwide understands the unique needs of its students, courses are conveniently offered in the classroom, online and through video conference. Worldwide also has more than 150 locations in the U.S. and abroad, an advantage for students who need to relocate during the course of their studies. ERAU's Fort Bragg office is located in C-Wing, Room 105 at the BTEC.
Northeastern University is accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEAS). Northeastern University is a nonprofit, private research University that has a long standing history of supporting Servicemembers and veterans, leveraging the institution’s experiential learning model, top-ranked career services, and an expansive alumni and employer network. In 2015, the Northeastern University's Charlotte Campus created a partnership with Fort Bragg, the largest DoD installation in the U.S., to offer a fast-track master's degree to active duty servicemembers transitioning out of the military into civilian careers. Veterans, spouses, family members and Civilians can also participate in the programs. Locally, on-campus and hybrid course offerings make it possible for soldiers and veterans to continue their studies while maintaining full-time jobs and Family responsibilities. Northeastern' s Fort Bragg office is located in B-Wing, Room 103 at the BTEC.
The Army Continuing Education System's mission (ACES) is to create and lead the Army’s premiere education organization committed to excellence, innovation, and deployability. Counseling is an integral part of the individual's educational endeavors. The Education Staff is committed to providing quality services and programs to active-duty personnel, Family members, retired military personnel, and Civilian personnel. Professional guidance counselors staff two education centers and provide a full range of adult and continuing education counseling. Individual counseling is available during normal duty hours on a walk-in basis. Counselors are also available to visit units and provide briefings to Soldiers and commanders on the education opportunities at Fort Bragg.
