A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The ACS Lending Closet provides temporary loans of household items to soldiers and their family members that are PCSing to or from Fort Bragg. The items available include: pots and pans, dishes (plates, cups, bowls, etc.), silverware, coffee pots, microwave ovens, irons/ironing boards and other various household goods.
Items may be borrowed for 15 days, but may be extended in certain situations. Please bring a copy of your PCS orders and military ID when you come to borrow items.
Beginning May 2025, The Lending Closet is available via appointment only. Appointments are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 to 4 p.m. To learn how to make an appointment, call 910-396-8682 / 8683.
As of June 2026, The ACS Lending Closet is located at the main ACS Office, 3rd Floor, Soldier Support Center.
