The Intercontinental Hotel Group Army Hotel (IHG) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. IHG Hotel consists of the Holiday Inn Express, a newly constructed, hotel-style facility, with 46 rooms. All units are equipped with a mini-fridge, microwaves, coffee makers and free wi-fi. Suites are also are equipped with a kitchen, queen size beds and fold-out sleeper couches. All rooms are pet-friendly, which require a $75 non-refundable fee for the first 5 nights and $7.00 per night after. Two out of the 46 rooms are handicap accessible. Cribs are available free of charge upon request as well as roll-out beds for a fee of $10.

Relocation Assistance

Incoming and outgoing soldiers and family members can visit the ACS Relocation Readiness Program, located on the 1st floor at 114 White Ave. The Relocation Program offers the following services to assist transitioning families to Fort Hamilton: the ACS lending closet, a welcome packet, and relocation counseling. Additionally, ACS offers various programs assisting Soldiers and their families with relocation and military life issues. Contact ACS at 718-630-4754, DSN 312-232-4754 for more information.

All incoming military personnel assigned to Fort Hamilton should report to and in-process through their assigned unit. The Personnel Administrative Center (PAC) or the staff of the new unit of assignment will provide all newly assigned soldiers with other in-processing requirements. Department of the Army Civilians who need to in-process should report to the Civilian Personnel Office, located on the 2nd floor of Building 114, telephone 718-630-4031, DSN 312-232-4031.

Fort Hamilton Lodging

The Holiday Inn Express Fort Hamilton, New York is located at 107 Schum Avenue on the Fort Hamilton installation. It offers 46 guest rooms (all with one queen bed) which include 2 ADA rooms, 10 one bedroom suites, 19 standard rooms and 15 extended stay rooms. Each room comes with one queen bed, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, blow dryer. Additional complimentary amenities includes daily hot/cold breakfast, guest laundry, courtesy shuttle to and from subway station, free DVD/CD rental, Wi-Fi and high-speed internet and a business center. We also have a weekly social. Domesticated pets (cats and dogs, 2 maximum per room) weighing less than 80 pounds are welcomed with a non-refundable fee of $75.00 and a fee of $6.00 after the sixth night stay.

The Navy Lodge is a popular alternative to the Holiday Inn Express. Located on historic Fort Wadsworth, just a short drive just across the Verrazano Narrows bridge, the Navy Lodge offers modern hotel-style accommodations, with fifty rooms and eight suites. All rooms feature microwaves, full-size refrigerators, stoves, TV with satellite Direct TV, irons and hair dryers. The Navy Lodge also features a free continental breakfast every morning. like the Holiday Inn Express, the Navy Lodge does not accept TLA Memorandums for PCSing personnel, and charges a flat rate of $93 a day, regardless of rank.
