Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Incoming and outgoing soldiers and family members can visit the ACS Relocation Readiness Program, located on the 1st floor at 114 White Ave. The Relocation Program offers the following services to assist transitioning families to Fort Hamilton: the ACS lending closet, a welcome packet, and relocation counseling. Additionally, ACS offers various programs assisting Soldiers and their families with relocation and military life issues. Contact ACS at 718-630-4754, DSN 312-232-4754 for more information.
All incoming military personnel assigned to Fort Hamilton should report to and in-process through their assigned unit. The Personnel Administrative Center or the staff of the new unit of assignment will provide all newly assigned soldiers with other in-processing requirements. Department of the Army Civilians who need to in-process should report to the Civilian Personnel Office, located on the 2nd floor of Building 114, telephone 718-630-4031, DSN 312-232-4031.

Installation Housing Information
Housing on Fort Hamilton is contracted through Balfour Beatty Communities, and can be contacted at 718-630-4697. Balfour Beatty Communities oversees a newly constructed housing area which includes six historic residences on Colonel's Row, seventy modern townhouses (officers and senior NCOs), sixty older style high-rise apartments, and one hundred-fifty new three and four bedroom apartments. The housing area also includes five modern playground areas, a walking and fitness trail, and plenty of parking - a very scarce commodity in Brooklyn.
Installation Specific Information
The Army Community Service has programs to assist with all aspects of your military life cycle. Services are free and most are available to all military (single or Married), DOD civilians, retirees and the families of each. Programs include Information and Referral, Army Emergency Relief, Relocation and Mobilization and Deployment.
