Middle School & Teens (MST)

Middle School/Teen (MST) is a comprehensive and supervised Army program targeting youth in 6^th-12^th grade.  The program operates supervised fun with safe recreational and learning opportunities that assist with the development of eligible youth outside the school hours. 

Facility
Harrold Youth Center (HYC) is the central facility for middle school and high school aged youth on Fort Leavenworth.  The building houses a 9,000 square foot Gymnasium, a Game Room complete with a 120” home theater screen/system, billiard tables, foosball, table tennis, Dance Dance Revolution, and an Interactive Game Wall. Harrold Youth Center also hosts a Homework Lab with a dedicated homework lab instructor and textbooks used by the local school districts. For the more computer inclined, HYC has a Technology Lab with a 12-terminal computer lab and other electronics and tech gadgets. The Art Room also provides opportunities in Arts and Crafts Projects, Photography, Music, and Dance.

Galaxy Teen Lounge – The Teen Lounge is a dedicated space for 9^th-12^th graders and was completely remodeled in April 2016.  The teen lounge was redesigned with a 120’ projector and screen, a DJ booth with the most up-to-date sound and lighting system with a large screen TV to play the newest video games.
