A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
The Youth Center is the place to go for youths, 6th grade thru 12th grade, to enjoy activities. Youth recreation and sponsorship programs are available. For more information call 912-767-4493/4491.
To participate in any programs offered, children must be registered with Parent Central Services Registration Office at Building 438. When registered, the child will receive a membership card. Registration is free.
School Age Centers
The School Age Centers Program provides age-appropriate recreational and educational activities for 1st thru 5th graders, before and after school. The program is offered 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school year and Full Day Care, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., is offered when school is not in session.
Children enrolled in the program are supervised and are involved in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, dancing, painting, sports, movies, exercise and field trips to local points of interest. A quiet time is also incorporated into the program during which children may relax or do homework. Various programs will utilize Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) facilities, as well as local recreational sites and parks.

Youth Center
The Youth Center is the place to go for youths, 6th grade thru 12th grade, to enjoy activities such as billiards, bumper pool, foosball, Sega, Nintendo games, table games, dances, contests, special events, tournaments, theme parties and cultural events.

Youth Recreation and Sports
Youth Sponsorship ProgramParents of children in grades 6-12 may request a child sponsor of similar age through the Youth Center. The sponsor will show the newcomer around the facilities and help them get acquainted with the environment and other children. To request a sponsor, call 912-767-5079.
